CPS is the subject of a new mini-documentary by University of the Arts senior Elyse Wilson. Ms. Wilson made the short film, called "Community Partnership School: Starting Small, Thinking Big", as part of her senior thesis project in documentary filmmaking. To make the 7-minute long film, Ms. Wilson spent countless hours at the Honickman Learning Center/Comcast Technology Labs getting to know the students and teachers, conducting interviews, and observing classroom activities. The film is set to be part of a larger documentary Ms. Wilson is working on, a 20-30 minute featurette profiling one student at the Community Partnership School. The longer film will be completed in late May. Until then, watch the mini-doc by clicking here! |
